Therapy for Urinary Urgency and Frequency

If you know every bathroom in Parker, wake several times a night, or feel urges that come out of nowhere, your bladder and pelvic floor may be stuck in an unhelpful pattern. Retraining that pattern is very achievable.

Sound familiar?
Needing the bathroom constantly
Sudden, intense urges
Waking more than once a night
Going just in case, everywhere
Urges triggered by keys in the door

How I can help

Urgency is a loop between bladder, brain, and pelvic floor, and every part of the loop is trainable. Care typically includes:

Urge suppression techniques that calm the signal in the moment

Bladder retraining to gradually restore normal intervals

Releasing an overactive pelvic floor, which often drives urgency

A look at fluid habits and bladder irritants, without joyless restriction

I wish I knew of Dr Kylie during my first pregnancy. She completely relieved all of my pelvic floor pain… She changed my diet, water intake and she gave me some at home exercises to help with comfort.

What your first visit looks like

1
We map your current pattern

Sometimes with a simple bladder diary for a few days.

2
Then assess the pelvic floor

Gripping, overactive muscles often sit underneath urgency.

3
We retrain the loop

Urge strategies, bladder retraining, and habits, step by step.

Common questions

How often is it normal to pee?

Roughly every two to four hours during the day, and zero to one time overnight for most adults. If you are far outside that, therapy can likely help.

Do I just need to drink less water?

Usually not, and cutting fluids too far actually irritates the bladder. We look at what and when you drink rather than simply less.

Wondering if this is what you're experiencing?

Tell Dr. Kylie what's going on and she'll get back to you within one business day.
