Pelvic Health Through Perimenopause and Menopause

Falling estrogen changes pelvic tissues, and symptoms like leaking, dryness, heaviness, and pain with intimacy often show up or worsen in the menopause transition. Therapy helps you understand the changes and treat the symptoms, so this stage does not shrink your life.

How I can help

This transition deserves informed, unembarrassed care. Together we work on:

Pelvic floor treatment matched to tissues that have changed with estrogen

Strategies and tools for comfort with intimacy

Strength training guidance, which matters more than ever for bone and muscle health

Education on what is happening and which options, including discussing local estrogen with your physician, may be worth exploring

Kylie is compassionate and professional. She takes the time to educate patients and provides personalized care. I would recommend Kylie to anyone looking for an excellent pelvic floor PT.

Common questions

Is it too late to start pelvic floor therapy after menopause?

Not at all. Muscles and symptoms respond to training at every age, and many of my clients are well past menopause.

Can therapy help with dryness and tissue changes?

Therapy helps with the muscular and mechanical side, and improves comfort. For the tissue changes themselves I will point you to evidence-based options to discuss with your physician.
