Therapy for Urinary and Bowel Leaking
Leaking when you laugh, sneeze, run, or cannot get to the bathroom fast enough is common at every age, and common does not mean normal. Pelvic floor therapy is a first-line treatment for incontinence, without medication or surgery.
How I can help
Leaking usually comes down to how your pelvic floor coordinates with pressure and urgency, and that is trainable. We work on:
Finding whether your pelvic floor is weak, overactive, or poorly coordinated, since each needs different treatment
Strength and timing work matched to your actual leak triggers
Urge and bladder habit retraining
Strategies for impact, lifting, and the activities where you leak
Kylie is the best! She is so sweet and made me feel comfortable throughout my pregnancy and postpartum. She was able to cue me during my exercises as well as show me when I was having trouble engaging certain muscles.
What your first visit looks like
When and how leaking happens, because the trigger points to the cause.
Weak, overactive, or mistimed each needs different treatment.
Targeted to your pattern, not a generic sheet of kegels.
Common questions
Is leaking just part of having had kids, or getting older?
I have done kegels and they did not help. Why would this be different?
Wondering if this is what you're experiencing?
