Therapy for Painful Sex (Dyspareunia)
Pain with intimacy is common, and it is not something you have to live with or feel embarrassed about. Overactive or tender pelvic floor muscles are a frequent, very treatable contributor, and this is one of the areas I treat most.
How I can help
Care is private, unhurried, and always at your pace. Depending on your situation we may use:
Gentle manual therapy to release overactive or tender pelvic floor muscles
Down-training and relaxation strategies for a pelvic floor that cannot let go
Graded, at-home tools and techniques you control
Education about what is driving the pain, which is often a relief in itself
I came to Kylie dealing with painful intercourse due to endometriosis, and to prepare for my excision surgery to remove it. She was so knowledgeable, kind and easy to talk to. My pain improved so much after seeing her I highly recommend!
