Hip and Low Back Pain Therapy

Your hips, low back, and pelvic floor share load with every step you take, and stubborn pain in one is often maintained by the others. As a pelvic health physical therapist I treat the whole system, which is often the missing piece when standard PT has not stuck.

Sound familiar?
Low back pain that keeps returning
Hip pain or pinching
SI joint or tailbone pain
Pain since pregnancy or postpartum
Tightness stretching never fixes

How I can help

Treating the back and hips together with the pelvic floor is what makes this approach different. Care includes:

Hands-on treatment for the hips, back, and pelvic floor as one system

Strength work targeting the deep support muscles standard programs skip

Movement retraining for lifting, carrying, and the positions that provoke you

A progressive plan back to running, lifting, and sport

As a birth doula, I refer many of my clients to her… Personally, she's helped me so much with pelvic and hip pain… She takes the time to listen to me, explain what's going on, and tailor treatment in a way that feels both effective and empowering.

Common questions

What does the pelvic floor have to do with back pain?

The pelvic floor is part of your deep core, working with your diaphragm and abdominal muscles to stabilize the spine and pelvis. When it is weak or overactive, the back and hips pick up the slack, and pain persists.

I have already done physical therapy. How is this different?

Standard orthopedic PT rarely assesses the pelvic floor. If your pain keeps returning, that unexamined piece of the system is often the reason.
